The summer semester begins next Tuesday 5th May 2015 and so does the Let’s Do Leicester’s new schedule for the semester. Last semester saw the project launch for the first time here at the University offering students an additional 27 hours of physical activity to what is currently on offer.
With exams taking place this semester Let’s Do Leicester offers students the perfect opportunity to boost their mental wellbeing through some form of physical activity. Whether you are looking to re-energize from revision or get that summer body, with a range of activities taking place on campus or in halls of residence at little or no cost at all, there is no excuse to getting involved.
With 6 exciting new activities introduced to the timetable this semester (Cycling, Archery, Bubble Football, Rounder’s and Zumba) there really is something for everyone.
The sessions are open to all students at the University. All levels of ability are welcome to come along and try out the sessions and just have fun. No sports card is required to participate just turn up and join in!
Check out the new Let’s Do Leicester timetable to find out what’s on when and get you to a session next week.
