Student Activators Wanted

Posted on Posted in Get Involved, News

Let’s Do Leicester is looking for enthusiastic students to join the Let’s Do Leicester team ahead of the 2015/16 academic year. 2014/2015 saw 20 students at the University given the opportunity to be apart of the project which not only provided an income for them while studying, but also the opportunity to develop skills that would be transferable into the work place.

There are currently opportunities for students to join the team as Residential Hall based Activators and Sports Activators. To apply for either position you will need to be a student during the 2015/16 academic year. To apply for the Residential Hall based Activator position you will also need to be living in one of the halls either in Oadby student village or in the City.

The roles of the activators will be promoting, recruiting and helping to deliver sessions and events, targeting students living within residential halls. Collect and collate appropriate project data.

This role will run from September 2015-July 2016, with weekly hours ranging from 3-6hours at £7.41 per hour (plus holiday pay)

For more information on how to become an activator please contact Project Co-ordinator Liz Jennings – emj9@le.ac.uk
