[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][text-with-icon icon_type=”image_icon” icon=”icon-glass” color=”Accent-Color” icon_image=”2067″]The exciting project that brought social sport with no commitments to the University last academic year, returns on the 30th September with even more activities added to its timetable for students to take part in.
The new schedule of activities is now available online for students to view, which includes several new activities such as Touch Rugby, Table Tennis, Yoga and Pilates. With over 35 hours of activities taking place on campus and off campus there is plenty for students to get involved with. The new academic year will also welcome the introduction of the “My Reward Card” system where students can collect points for each session they turn up and claim a free 7 day gym membership at the Danielle Brown Sports Centre.
To add further excitement to the new academic year Let’s Do Leicester will be hosting the Universities first ever UV sports events. What better way to enjoy playing sport than with some friends, music and in the dark with UV lights along with equipment and court markings glowing in the dark. Look out for all details on this and how you can sign up to be released later this week!
The best part is you don’t need to have a sports membership to take part in any of the sessions or events, just turn up and join in!!
For more information on any of the mentioned look out for the Let’s Do Leicester team at Fresher’s on the 28th and 29th of September, where the staff will be on hand to answer any questions and hand out lots of freebies on the day.[/text-with-icon][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][image_with_animation image_url=”5113″ animation=”Fade In” img_link_target=”_self”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
